AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to requiring posting of certain information regarding |
|
|
nursing homes and related institutions on the Department of Aging |
|
|
and Disability Services website. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 242.042, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: |
|
|
(e) The department shall post detailed compliance |
|
|
information regarding each institution licensed by the department, |
|
|
including the information an institution is required to make |
|
|
accessible by Subsection (c), on the department's website. The |
|
|
department shall update the website once a month to provide the most |
|
|
current compliance information regarding each institution. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
