Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2019, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 1:07 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Cole; Dominguez; Huberty; Rosenthal; and Stickland.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 2245

 

The chair laid out SB 2245.

 

Representative Anderson, Charles "Doc" moved that SB 2245, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Cole; Dominguez; Huberty; Rosenthal; Stickland (8).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Biedermann (1).

 

 

(Representative Biedermann was absent due to other legislative business. He indicated that if he had been present, he would have voted aye.)

HB 4125

 

The chair laid out HB 4125 as pending business.

 

Representative Bohac offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Bohac moved that HB 4125, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Cole; Dominguez; Huberty; Rosenthal (7).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Biedermann; Stickland (2).
