Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 7, 2019, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phelan, at 12:10 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phelan; Hernandez; Deshotel; Guerra; Harless; Holland; Hunter; King, Phil; Parker; Raymond; Rodriguez; and Springer.

A quorum was present.

The chair directed that the April 18, 2019 minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair directed that the May 1, 2019 minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

At 12:11 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
