Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and challenges in scheduling public hearings, the Senate Select Committee on Redistricting is conducting necessary functions through an information gathering process under Section 301.014 of the Texas Government Code.  This is notice that the committee has established a public input portal on its website.  This public input portal is available at https://senate.Texas.gov/redistrictingcomment/.

This tool allows the public to submit written comments and attachments for the committee to review and consider regarding the upcoming redistricting process.  Submissions received will be transmitted to members of the committee and any other senator who requests to review them.

Debido a la pandemia de COVID-19 y los desafíos presentados para programar audiencias públicas, el Comité Senatorial Selecto de Redistribución está ejerciendo funciones necesarias mediante un proceso de recopilación de información bajo la Sección 301.014 del Código de Gobierno de Texas. Se anuncia que el comité ha establecido un portal de opinión pública en su sitio electrónico. Este portal de información pública esta disponible en https://senate.texas.gov/redistrictingcomment/.

Este instrumento permite al público enviar comentarios escritos y adjuntos para que el comité revise y considere, referente al próximo proceso de redistribución de distritos electorales. Las opiniones recibidas serán transmitidas a los miembros del comité y todo otro senador que solicite observarlas.
