SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 31
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Veronica "Ronnie" Ontiveros for her outstanding |
|
|
service to the people of the Rio Grande Valley; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A highly respected entrepreneur and community |
|
|
leader, Ronnie Ontiveros is the owner and broker of NextHome RGV |
|
|
Realty and the owner and president of Med-Care EMS and of |
|
|
Lifeguard Aeromed; a native of Kingsville, she learned the value |
|
|
of hard work at an early age, and she attended Texas A&M |
|
|
University--Kingsville and The University of Texas at Arlington; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, She holds a real estate broker's license, and she |
|
|
established NextHome RGV Realty in 2018; the firm has already |
|
|
become one of the fastest-growing agencies in South Texas, and in |
|
|
2020, the firm was ranked in the top 25 percent of NextHome |
|
|
franchises in the country and was named a Pinnacle Office Award |
|
|
winner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ronnie's Med-Care EMS provides exceptional |
|
|
emergency services and mutual assistant aid in cities across the |
|
|
Rio Grande Valley, and her Lifeguard Aeromed is one of the |
|
|
leading providers of international critical medical care flights |
|
|
in the region; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ronnie is active in a wide range of professional |
|
|
and civic organizations, including the Greater McAllen |
|
|
Association of Realtors, the Texas Ambulance Association, |
|
|
multiple chambers of commerce, Comfort House, and the Boys and |
|
|
Girls Club of McAllen; it is truly fitting that she receive |
|
|
special recognition for her exceptional leadership and many |
|
|
accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Veronica |
|
|
Ontiveros on her many contributions to the quality of life in the |
|
|
Rio Grande Valley and extend to her best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
