R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sebastian Quaid has ably served the people of Texas |
|
|
as an aide in the office of State Representative James White during |
|
|
the summer of 2021; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Quaid has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing residents of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Minot, North Dakota, Mr. Quaid attended |
|
|
Texas State University, where he served as chair of the Young |
|
|
Conservatives of Texas and later earned a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
political science with a minor in journalism; deeply committed to |
|
|
serving his fellow citizens, he plans to one day run for office; in |
|
|
his leisure time, he enjoys hiking and camping; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sebastian Quaid has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Sebastian Quaid for |
|
|
his service as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative James White and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Quaid as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
