AUTHOR'S / SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT
Current law limits the manner in which alcoholic beverage retailers are permitted to decorate the windows or doorways of their establishments, an unnecessary restriction on their ability to conduct business. H.B. 2698 would repeal prohibitions against obstructing the view of the interior of a package store or wine-only package store.
H.B. 2698 amends current law relating to covers or barriers on the windows and doors of and other obstructions of the view of certain alcoholic beverage retailers.
RULEMAKING AUTHORITY
This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.
