Committee Report (Unamended) |
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
It has been noted that certain counties have been using online training as an option for volunteer deputy registrars. However, concerns have been raised that these registrar applicants can sign up for training even though they do not live in the county offering the training, which could lead to multiple issues. H.B. 3556 seeks to alleviate part of this problem by requiring in-person training of volunteer deputy voter registrars.
