SECTION 1. Section 2254.102(e), Government Code, is amended |
to read as follows: |
(e) This subchapter does not apply to a contract for legal |
services entered into by a political subdivision for the collection |

of an obligation, as defined by Section 2107.001, that is |
delinquent [under Section 6.30, Tax Code, Article 103.0031, Code of |

effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect |
immediately before the effective date of this Act, and that law is |
continued in effect for that purpose. |
