A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to state agency information on child-care services |
|
|
available to veterans and their families. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 434, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 434.109 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 434.109. CHILD-CARE SERVICES INFORMATION. (a) In |
|
|
this section, "state agency" includes an institution of higher |
|
|
education as defined by Section 61.003, Education Code. |
|
|
(b) A state agency that provides services to veterans shall |
|
|
post on the agency's Internet website and provide in printed |
|
|
materials information on child-care services available to veterans |
|
|
and their families. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
