A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the transfer of alcoholic beverages between certain |
|
|
permitted premises. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 24.04(a), Alcoholic Beverage Code, as |
|
|
effective September 1, 2021, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(a) The owner of more than one wine only package store may |
|
|
designate one of the permit holder's places of business as a place |
|
|
of storage. The permit holder may transfer alcoholic beverages to |
|
|
and from the place of storage and the permit holder's other stores |
|
|
in the state [same county], subject to rules prescribed by the |
|
|
commission. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
