A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to the creation and continuation of a county fire marshal
  position.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 352.011(b), Local Government Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (b)  The commissioners court shall establish the term of
  office for a county fire marshal for a period not to exceed four
  [two] years.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2021.
