CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
WHEREAS, Maria M. Ramirez is retiring from the Texas Health |
|
and Human Services Commission in Midland on May 31, 2021, drawing to |
|
a close a notable career in public service that has spanned nearly |
|
three decades; and |
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of her exemplary 29-year tenure with |
|
HHSC, Ms. Ramirez has worked in the Access and Eligibility Services |
|
division, where she embodies the unit's core values of respect, |
|
ownership, collaboration, and integrity; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Ms. Ramirez has earned the |
|
respect and admiration of her clients and her colleagues alike as a |
|
highly motivated and compassionate individual with a commitment to |
|
helping the most vulnerable citizens of Texas; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Ramirez's dedication, professionalism, and |
|
expertise have greatly benefited the mission of HHSC, and she may |
|
indeed reflect with pride on a career well spent as she embarks on |
|
the next exciting chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the 87th Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
hereby congratulate Maria M. Ramirez on her retirement from the |
|
Texas Health and Human Services Commission and extend to her |
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Ramirez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives and Senate. |
