R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Tammy Romero Broussard of Atascocita, who passed away on January |
|
26, 2021, at the age of 57; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Youngsville, Louisiana on April 29, 1963, |
|
the former Tammy Romero was the daughter of Ellis and Noemie Romero, |
|
and she grew up with the company of three sisters, Jaqueline, Sonia, |
|
and Wendy, and a brother, Kevin; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Broussard enjoyed a career as an educator, and |
|
she also volunteered with St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community and |
|
Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center; and |
|
WHEREAS, Above all else, she was devoted to her loved ones; |
|
she shared a rewarding marriage with her husband, David, that |
|
spanned 37 years, and she took great pride in her two sons, Trevor |
|
and Tristan, and her granddaughter, Elliot; and |
|
WHEREAS, Tammy Broussard lived a rich and purposeful life |
|
centered around her family, her faith, and her community, and she |
|
will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who knew her; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Tammy Romero |
|
Broussard and extend sincere condolences to her relatives and |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Tammy |
|
Broussard. |
