R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob Reeves was elected as Kerr County tax |
|
|
assessor-collector on March 3, 2020; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office, Mr. Reeves |
|
|
draws on a wealth of valuable experience from his 35 years in real |
|
|
estate appraising and property tax consulting; this lifelong Kerr |
|
|
County resident was previously the Precinct 4 county commissioner |
|
|
before being appointed tax assessor-collector in 2018, following |
|
|
the retirement of his predecessor; he is also a former board member |
|
|
of the Harper Independent School District and Kerr County Emergency |
|
|
Services District 2; for more than four decades, he has served the |
|
|
Hill Country District Junior Livestock Show in a variety of |
|
|
positions, including as its executive director and president; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the |
|
|
continuing efforts of Bob Reeves will help to make Kerr County an |
|
|
even better place in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Bob Reeves for his service as Kerr |
|
|
County tax assessor-collector and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for a successful tenure; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Reeves as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
