R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Epifanio "Prieto" Quiroga Jr. of San Antonio passed |
|
|
away on October 15, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving his loved ones |
|
|
with a wealth of happy memories to treasure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A San Antonio native, Epifanio Quiroga Jr. was born |
|
|
on January 28, 1948, to Epifanio and Carlota Quiroga, and he grew up |
|
|
in a large family that included his 13 brothers and sisters; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Quiroga took great pride in his children, Rosa, |
|
|
Epi, Alex, and the late Robert Quiroga, who preceded his father in |
|
|
death; he was further cherished by 11 grandchildren, Cristiana, |
|
|
Paul, Crystal, Catheryne, Epi, Rhianna, Tristan, Kaitlyn, Jose, |
|
|
Alejandra, and Alexander, and 4 great-grandchildren, Serenity, |
|
|
Sophia, Anthony, and Robert, along with many other relatives and |
|
|
friends; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Epifanio Quiroga was a source of joy and inspiration |
|
|
to his wide circle of loved ones, and he will always hold a special |
|
|
place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Epifanio "Prieto" |
|
|
Quiroga Jr. and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his |
|
|
family: to his children, Rosa De La Rosa and her husband, Paul, Epi |
|
|
Quiroga and his wife, Charleen, and Alex Quiroga and his wife, |
|
|
Debbie; to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; to his |
|
|
siblings, Fausto, Linda and her husband, Rogelio, Ruby, Yolanda and |
|
|
her husband, Rey, Israel and his wife, Mary, and Nena and her |
|
|
husband, Juan; and to all others who mourn his passing; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Epifanio |
|
|
Quiroga. |
