R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, T. J. Daniels of Longview Christian School |
|
|
distinguished himself by taking part in the 2021 Texas Association |
|
|
of Private and Parochial Schools Track and Field State |
|
|
Championships; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining other top high school competitors from |
|
|
throughout Texas at Panther Stadium in Hewitt on May 1, Mr. Daniels |
|
|
turned in notable performances in the 2A 110-meter and 300-meter |
|
|
hurdles, securing fourth-place and fifth-place finishes in his |
|
|
respective races; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the opportunity to compete in this |
|
|
premier showcase for high school track and field athletes, T. J. |
|
|
Daniels has ably represented his school and community, and he may |
|
|
indeed reflect with pride on his accomplishments; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate T. J. Daniels on participating in |
|
|
the 2021 TAPPS Track and Field State Championships and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Daniels as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
