R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Faye Geremia has ably served her fellow Texans as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu |
|
|
during the 87th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Geremia has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks |
|
|
such as analyzing the potential impact of proposed legislation, |
|
|
managing correspondence and communication with constituents, and |
|
|
preparing bill materials and documents; in addition to gaining |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Geremia holds a bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science from the University of Houston, where she graduated magna |
|
|
cum laude; prior to beginning her tenure with Representative Wu, |
|
|
she was an intern in the Harris County Clerk's Office, and she has |
|
|
served as an intern, office manager, and deputy field organizer for |
|
|
several political campaigns; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Faye Geremia for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Geremia as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
