R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Campbell has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
a policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu |
|
during the 87th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Campbell has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
which have included conducting research pertaining to criminal and |
|
juvenile justice; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|
field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Campbell earned her bachelor's degree in |
|
criminal justice from the University of Oklahoma in 2019, and she is |
|
currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, where she |
|
is expected to graduate with a master's degree in public affairs in |
|
May 2022; she has focused on criminal and juvenile justice policy in |
|
her coursework, and she has served as a volunteer for both the Texas |
|
Prison Education Initiative and the Texas Fair Defense Project; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Sarah Campbell for her service as a |
|
policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and |
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Campbell as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
