R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Greyson Thomas Gee has ably served his fellow Texans |
|
|
as a policy intern in the office of State Representative James White |
|
|
during the 87th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Gee has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including research and policy analysis; in addition to gaining |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Gee is pursuing a political science and |
|
|
economics degree at Texas A&M University; active in his campus |
|
|
community, he has been involved with the Student Senate Legislative |
|
|
Relations Committee, Orange and Maroon Legislative Day, and Fish |
|
|
Aides, the Student Government Association freshman leadership |
|
|
organization; moreover, he has served as a regional director's |
|
|
intern for the Convention of States Project; he has been named to |
|
|
the dean's list, and he is a recipient of the Daughters of the |
|
|
American Revolution Good Citizens Award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a policy intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Greyson Thomas Gee for his service as a |
|
|
policy intern in the office of State Representative James White and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Gee as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
