R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kash Bradley of Bushland High School achieved great |
|
|
distinction by winning the bronze medal in the 3A long jump event at |
|
|
the 2021 University Interscholastic League Track & Field State |
|
|
Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in |
|
|
Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 6, Mr. Bradley |
|
|
turned in a notable performance, soaring 21 feet, 10.75 inches, to |
|
|
claim third place; throughout the season, he benefited from the |
|
|
guidance of his jumping coach, Derek Mauldin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Kash Bradley has ably |
|
|
represented his school and community, and he will cherish his |
|
|
memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kash Bradley on his bronze-medal |
|
|
finish in the 3A long jump at the 2021 UIL Track & Field State Meet |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Bradley as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
