R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Hunter Warminski of White Deer High School achieved |
|
|
great distinction by winning silver medals in the 1A long jump and |
|
|
triple jump at the 2021 University Interscholastic League Track & |
|
|
Field State Meet; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in |
|
|
Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 8, Mr. Warminski |
|
|
turned in a notable performance; he soared 21 feet, 4 inches, in the |
|
|
long jump to claim second place and then collected another silver |
|
|
medal in the triple jump with a leap of 44 feet, 0.25 inches; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |
|
|
high school track and field athletes, Hunter Warminski has ably |
|
|
represented his school and community, and he will cherish his |
|
|
memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Hunter Warminski on his |
|
|
silver-medal performances in the 1A long jump and triple jump at the |
|
|
2021 UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Warminski as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
