R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Zamured Yaser Aboob Alazzawi has been named the |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2021 at Liberty High School in Houston, |
|
|
and she indeed merits special recognition for receiving this |
|
|
significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as one of the two |
|
|
top-ranking students in her class, Ms. Alazzawi demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, Ms. Alazzawi |
|
|
has further distinguished herself through her participation in the |
|
|
Optimist International Oratorical Contest and the Houston Urban |
|
|
Debate League; she has also maintained a perfect record of |
|
|
attendance; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Liberty High School, Zamured |
|
|
Alazzawi has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers |
|
|
and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Zamured Yaser Aboob Alazzawi on |
|
|
graduating as salutatorian of the Liberty High School Class of 2021 |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for success as she begins the |
|
|
next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Alazzawi as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
