R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cynthia Ann Najera was reelected as the District 2 |
|
|
representative on the Socorro Independent School District Board of |
|
|
Trustees in May 2021; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Socorro school board work in |
|
|
conjunction with administrators, classroom teachers, and parents |
|
|
to foster a supportive and challenging environment at the |
|
|
district's schools; in so doing, they play an essential role in |
|
|
providing students with a strong academic foundation on which to |
|
|
build a bright and prosperous future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In accepting the responsibilities of serving on the |
|
|
Socorro school board, Cynthia Najera has made an exemplary |
|
|
commitment to her fellow citizens, and her vision and leadership |
|
|
will be integral in guiding the district's vital educational |
|
|
mission in the years ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cynthia Ann Najera on being |
|
|
reelected to the Socorro Independent School District Board of |
|
|
Trustees and extend to her sincere best wishes for a successful |
|
|
tenure in office; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Najera as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
