R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tatum Boyer of West Texas High School in Stinnett |
|
|
has achieved notable success in the 2021 2A University |
|
|
Interscholastic League Academic State Meet, held from April 30 to |
|
|
May 1; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Competing against some of the brightest students in |
|
|
the Lone Star State, Ms. Boyer turned in strong performances in |
|
|
both the headline writing and copy editing events, claiming silver |
|
|
and bronze medals, respectively; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her hard work and commitment to excellence, |
|
|
Tatum Boyer has distinguished herself in the state's premier high |
|
|
school academic competition, and her accomplishments are a source |
|
|
of great pride to her school and community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Tatum Boyer on her performance at |
|
|
the 2021 2A UIL Academic State Meet and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Boyer as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
