R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tessa Nemec has ably served her fellow Texans as an |
|
|
aide in the office of State Representative Rafael Anchía during the |
|
|
87th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Nemec has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Nemec holds a bachelor's degree in women's and |
|
|
gender studies from Southern Methodist University, and she is |
|
|
currently pursuing a master's degree in public affairs at the LBJ |
|
|
School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin; she |
|
|
hopes to devote her career to ensuring that her fellow Texans have |
|
|
access to quality sexual and reproductive health care; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding individual has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Tessa Nemec for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Rafael |
|
|
Anchía and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Nemec as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
