SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 531
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  John Skold
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the
  passing of John Kristoffer Skold on April 24, 2021, at the age of
  39; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, John Skold was
  born to John Marshall Skold and Sharon Stopp on December 15,
  1981; he graduated from Ellison High School in 1999 and
  ultimately earned a master's degree from Liberty University; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Skold served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a
  chief warrant officer for the Army National Guard; over the
  course of the past seven years, he was a shop supervisor for the
  Texas Army National Guard; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Skold enjoyed the love
  and support of his wife, Courtney, with whom he shared a
  rewarding marriage that spanned 13 years; he was the proud father
  of four children, Kaben, Kamdyn, Madison, and Morgan; and
         WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to his family and his country,
  John Skold earned the lasting respect and admiration of all who
  were privileged to know him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of John Kristoffer
  Skold and extend heartfelt sympathy to his loved ones; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of John Skold.
