John Skold |
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |
|
passing of John Kristoffer Skold on April 24, 2021, at the age of |
|
39; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, John Skold was |
|
born to John Marshall Skold and Sharon Stopp on December 15, |
|
1981; he graduated from Ellison High School in 1999 and |
|
ultimately earned a master's degree from Liberty University; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Skold served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a |
|
chief warrant officer for the Army National Guard; over the |
|
course of the past seven years, he was a shop supervisor for the |
|
Texas Army National Guard; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Skold enjoyed the love |
|
and support of his wife, Courtney, with whom he shared a |
|
rewarding marriage that spanned 13 years; he was the proud father |
|
of four children, Kaben, Kamdyn, Madison, and Morgan; and |
|
WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to his family and his country, |
|
John Skold earned the lasting respect and admiration of all who |
|
were privileged to know him; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|
Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of John Kristoffer |
|
Skold and extend heartfelt sympathy to his loved ones; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns |
|
this day, it do so in memory of John Skold. |
