No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to require all early voting and election day polling places to have two designated parking spaces reserved to accommodate voters unable to enter a polling place.

Local Government Impact

Bastrop, Hays, and Williamson counties do not anticipate a significant fiscal impact to counties. Fort Bend County anticipates a cost between $30,000 to $40,000 to create designated parking spaces. Bexar County anticipates a cost of $40,000.
