No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to extend the statute of limitations for certain criminal offenses based on assaultive conduct.

According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal implication to the State court system is anticipated. 

This analysis assumes implementing the provisions of the bill addressing felony sanctions for criminal offenses would not result in a significant impact on state correctional agencies.

Local Government Impact

Bexar County does not expect a fiscal impact from the bill. No significant fiscal implication to other units of local government is anticipated.
