No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Statewide Health Coordinating Council to establish a health literacy advisory council to develop a long-range plan for improving health literacy by December 1 of each even-numbered year. It is assumed that the provisions of the bill could be implemented using existing resources.
