HB1116 by Thompson, Ed (Relating to toll collection and enforcement on state highway toll lanes by entities other than the Texas Department of Transportation.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to specify that a toll collected pursuant to an agreement for tolling services with a toll project entity other than the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) would be governed by the fee and fine structure of the entity issuing the initial toll invoice.
Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State.
