No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require courts, under certain circumstances and for certain people convicted of or placed on deferred adjudication community supervision, to prohibit criminal justice agencies from disclosing to the public criminal history record information related to the offense for which the person was convicted or placed on deferred adjudication community supervision.
Based on information provided by the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated as a result from implementing the provisions of the bill.
Local Government Impact
Eastland County anticipates a moderate fiscal impact to the county. Brazoria County does not anticipate a fiscal impact to the county. Montgomery County anticipates a fiscal impact but in an amount that cannot be determined at this time.
