No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and the Tax Code to establish a veterans' land bank program to be administered by the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation. The bill would require the corporation to adopt a land bank program and establish or approve a land bank for the purpose of acquiring, holding, and transferring unimproved real property to low-income veteran households.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal implication to counties is anticipated. No significant fiscal implication to other units of local government is anticipated.
