No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Government Code related to payment bonds for certain public work contractors by increasing the contract threshold amount over which these payment bonds would be required.

According to the Texas Facilities Commission, the Military Department, the Parks and Wildlife Department, and the Historical Commission no significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
