IN RE:	HB2225 by King, Tracy O. (Relating to the powers and duties of the Parks and Wildlife Department regarding the Texas Water Trust.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code and the Water Code relating to the power and duties of the Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) regarding the Texas Water Trust.

Based on information provided by the Texas Water Development Board, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and TPWD, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
