No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would modify the Parks and Wildlife Code to allow the Parks and Wildlife Commission to adopt rules in order to remove and dispose of abandoned fishing devices.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2021.
Based on information provided by the Parks and Wildlife Department, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
