No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill adds the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to the list of professional sports teams defined in Section 2004.002 of the Occupations Code and for which a professional sports team charitable foundation is permitted to conduct a charitable raffle. The bill would add rodeo events at rodeo venues as locations that professional sports team charitable foundations can hold charitable raffles.
According to the Office of the Attorney General and the Texas Lottery Commission, any work resulting from the provisions of the bill could reasonably be absorbed within current resources.
According to the Comptroller's Office of Public Accounts, no fiscal impact is anticipated.
