IN RE:	HB3215 by Geren (Relating to energy efficiency building standards.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to make changes to certification requirements for compliance with energy efficiency building standards.

Based on the analysis of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
