No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Agriculture Code to exempt requests the identity of participants in invasive species management programs from public information. The exemption would not apply to a person who contracts with the state for removal or management of an invasive species.
Based on information provided by the Soil and Water Conservation Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
