No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), in collaboration with the Health and Human Services Commission, to report on the prevalence of eating disorders and eating disorder-related deaths by December 1, 2022. The bill would also require DSHS to report on the prevalence of eating disorders among youth by December 1, 2024. It is assumed the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.
