It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the numbering and signing of ballots by early voting clerks and deputy early voting clerks could be absorbed using existing resources.

According to Hays County, no fiscal impact is anticipated.
Cameron County anticipates a cost of up to $10,000 per election or a minimum of $20,000 per year, with more possible during a primary year and with runoffs. In addition the county anticipates expedited shipping costs.
Williamson County anticipates an annual fiscal impact of $2,000.
