Pursuant to a notice posted on June 28, 2021, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 2:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Rose; Goldman; Jetton; Landgraf; Minjarez; Moody; Morrison; Murr; Schofield; Turner, Chris; and White.

 

A quorum was present.

Rep. Fierro was also in attendance.

 

(Representative Thompson, Senfronia now present.)

 

The Committee held a regional hearing on the El Paso area. Testimony was taken from the State Demographer. The Committee also heard testimony from the public.

At 3:06 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
