Pursuant to a notice posted on April 27, 2021, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Goldman, at 2:39 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Goldman; Herrero; Anchia; Darby; Ellzey; Geren; King, Tracy O.; Leman; and Reynolds.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1260, the companion to HB 3381.

 

Representative Leman moved that SB 1260, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair laid out HB 3576 as pending business.

 

Representative Ellzey offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Ellzey moved that HB 3576, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
