Pursuant to a notice posted on May 11, 2021, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 9:00 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Geren; Dominguez; Buckley; Ellzey; Gervin-Hawkins; Guerra; and Morales, Christina.

 

A quorum was present.

Representative Geren moved to place the following measures on the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 14, 2021:  HB 4368, HB 4555, HB 4667.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Geren; Dominguez; Bowers; Buckley; Ellzey; Gervin-Hawkins; Guerra; Morales, Christina (8).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Dean; Meyer; Middleton (3).

 

 

Representative Geren moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House

Calendars Committee: HB 4471. The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Geren moved that the floor amendment to HB 2269 offered by Representative Turner, John and HB 4368 offered by Representative Rodriguez to be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 14, 2021.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

At 9:03 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
