Pursuant to a notice posted on February 26, 2021, and permission granted on March 3, 2021, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Public Health met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Klick, at 10:39 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Klick; Guerra; Allison; Campos; Collier; Jetton; Price; and Zwiener.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

 

The Committee met for organizational purposes and heard updates from the following entities:

 

Board of Nursing

Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas

Department of State Health Services

Medical Board
