Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Future of College Sports in Texas, Select was held on Monday, August 2, 2021, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Senator Nelson and members of the Committee made opening remarks.

 

Senator Nelson laid out the Committee Rules and moved adoption.  Without objection, it was so ordered.

The Chair moved that testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.
