Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on State Water Implementation Fund for Texas Advisory was held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

Co-chair Senator Charles Perry called the meeting to order at 9:04 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The following members arrived after the roll was called: Senator Hinojosa

Invited witnesses testifying on the overall operation, function, and structure of the resiliency fund  are shown on the attached list.

Senator Hinojosa moved adoption of the committee rules. There being no objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 9:42 AM Representative Harris moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
