R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Jessies Sandoval retired as the director of public |
|
works for the City of Eagle Pass in 2023, drawing to a close an |
|
outstanding tenure with the municipality that spanned three and a |
|
half decades; and |
|
WHEREAS, "Cacho" Sandoval began his career with the City of |
|
Eagle Pass on October 21, 1987, and he rose to become director of |
|
public works; under his able guidance, the city's Public Works |
|
Department initiated numerous projects that will continue to |
|
benefit area residents for many years to come; in addition, he |
|
gained the lasting respect and admiration of his colleagues and |
|
fellow citizens alike for his dedication to the health, safety, and |
|
comfort of the community; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Sandoval enjoys the love |
|
and support of his wife, Leticia Hundley Sandoval; he takes great |
|
pride in their children, Travis, Jessie, Celeste, and Aaron, as |
|
well as their grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through his leadership, professionalism, and |
|
commitment to excellence, Cacho Sandoval helped make Eagle Pass an |
|
even better place in which to live and work, and he may indeed |
|
reflect with pride on his achievements as he embarks on the next |
|
exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Jessies |
|
"Cacho" Sandoval on his retirement as the director of public works |
|
for the City of Eagle Pass and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Sandoval as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
