SENATE RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Alethea Robinson, who is retiring after 27 years with
  the Texas Department of Criminal Justice; and
         WHEREAS, Alethea joined the Parole Division of the Texas
  Department of Criminal Justice in 1996 as a parole caseworker II
  and was quickly promoted to parole officer; for almost three
  decades, she has served the parole division in a variety of
  roles, including unit supervisor, parole supervisor, and
  assistant regional director; renowned for her outstanding
  leadership, she was promoted to lead the Dallas North and South
  Region II as regional director in 2018; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Alethea has been noted for
  her superior organizational skills and her exceptional work as a
  mentor; as Region II director, she oversaw the reintegration of
  more than 19,000 parole clients into the Dallas community, and
  her dedication to helping them return to their communities while
  serving their sentences has positively affected the lives of
  countless people; and
         WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful leader, Alethea has
  handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency,
  wisdom, and dedication; she is admired and respected by her
  colleagues, and her presence in the Texas Department of Criminal
  Justice Parole Division will be greatly missed; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Alethea Robinson
  on her exceptional service and her many contributions to our
  state and extend to her best wishes in all her future endeavors;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
