SENATE RESOLUTION
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
recognize Dr. Karen Campion on her installation as president of |
|
the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Campion was elected president of the |
|
Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards at the 96th Annual |
|
Congress of the organization in April of 2023; a chiropractor in |
|
Bryan, Dr. Campion exemplifies the organization's high standards |
|
and long history of service; and |
|
WHEREAS, The Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards |
|
is a nonprofit national organization that promotes high-quality |
|
chiropractic licensure, regulation, discipline, and education; |
|
the federation protects public health and welfare by ensuring |
|
excellence and integrity in chiropractic therapy through service |
|
to the 50 chiropractic licensing boards across the country; and |
|
WHEREAS, Retired from full-time practice and now |
|
practicing part-time, Dr. Campion has a distinguished record of |
|
service in the chiropractic profession and is a highly respected |
|
leader in the field; she previously served as the Federation of |
|
Chiropractic Licensing Boards District IV regional director and |
|
served as vice president of the Texas Board of Chiropractic |
|
Examiners from 2016 to 2018; and |
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Campion is an esteemed and accomplished |
|
professional who has made significant contributions to the |
|
advancement of chiropractic care in Texas and the United States, |
|
and she is truly deserving of recognition for her exceptional |
|
career in health care; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Dr. Karen |
|
Campion on her election as president of the Federation of |
|
Chiropractic Licensing Boards and extend to her best wishes for |
|
continued success in her new role; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
